TBWA brought us onboard for the launch of the Adidas Ultra Boost 21 sneaker – exploring the shoe’s latest design through a mixed media documentary-style “Educate" film. Narrated by the key designers themselves the film explores the obstacles the team faced in balancing the “energy triangle” in their design journey.

Through the harmonisation of our three key elements (cushioning, weight & responsiveness) we unlock the ultimate energy return…our final UB21 in action. The edit of authentic footage of our designers, slick CGI of the shoe and expressive prototype tests in both medians, created a premium yet exciting look into the UB21 world. Our play with the back and forth journey showed the true obstacles, collaborative passion & energetic results of the teamwork – leading us to a shoe that screams energy & performance.

Our collaboration with TBWA on Adidas Ultra Boost 21 carried on into the product “tech” hype film. Our orbiting journey uses high-speed, dynamic cameras to express the explosive high-energy of UB21. We explored all the details, but specifically our USPs: boost sole, LEP & prime knit – diving into visceral metaphors that really tease the shoe’s bounciness, responsiveness & supportive engineered fabric. We finessed & refined a hyper-detailed 3d shoe and environment to create the premium UB21 world and showcase the harmonisation & power of our high-performance shoe.
